About AEIP

Active Engagement and Integration Project (AEIP) is the first overseas initiative of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and is funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). AEIP provides free pre-landing support services abroad in order to better support the settlement, adaptation and integration of individuals moving to Canada.

The vision of AEIP is to facilitate a smooth transition for newcomers to Canada by providing services that promote community and labour market engagement prior to their departure.

AEIP engages newcomer clients in their preparation for life in Canada from pre-arrival to post-arrival settlement services. The project aims to help clients smoothly transition into Canadian society by providing the following services for free:

  • Pre-Departure Orientation
  • Outreach Orientation Workshops
  • Themed workshops
  • Individual and Family Consultation
  • Employment and Foreign Credential Recognition (FCR) Support
  • Support Groups and Forums
  • Post-Landing Connection in Canada
  • Virtual Resource Centre
  • Resource Centre

AEIP's service centres are located in China, South Korea and Taiwan with outreach services provided in the following countries: Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, United States of America and Vietnam. In addition, an online service platform is available to clients at their convenience.

As of March 2017, AEIP is now serving Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP) candidates. AIP candidates can contact their closest AEIP office for a needs assessment and settlement plan.
